BOHEMIA, NY–Flexographic Technical Association and its Foundation formally seated a new slate of officers, thereby reconfiguring both its Board of Directors and Foundation’s Board of Trustees, July 1, 2024.

Paul Teachout, Harper Corporation of America, has been elected chairman of FTA’s Board of Directors and will serve in that capacity through mid 2027. He succeeds Jennye Scott, VP Global Creative Services, Berry Global in the role she has held since 2021. Teachout acted as chair elect for the past three years. Establishing the chain of succession, Shawn Oetjen, AWT Labels and Packaging, has been selected to be FTA chair-elect.

On the Foundation side, Laura Wright, CSW Graphics, continues her term as chair, FFTA Board of Trustees. She has held the role since May 2022 and will rotate out of service in 2025. At that time, Bob Coomes, PPC Flex, will succeed Wright.

 Three two-term board members concluded their service on both FTA’s Board of Directors and FFTA’s Board of Trustees in 2024. They are: Jeff Dietz, KolbusAmerica/Hycorr; Jean Engelke, Immediate past FFTA Board Chair; and Doug Bartlett, All Printing Resources.

Vacancies created by those departures have been filled. Elected to their initial three-year term on both FTA’s Board of Directors and FFTA’s Board of Trustees, with their initial terms beginning in 2024 are:

·      Eric Frank, Senior VP Marketing & Product Management, Koenig & Bauer

·      Catherine Haynes, VP Growth & Development, All Printing Resources Inc

·      Michele LairdWilliams, Director, Global Field Marketing, Miraclon Corp
