BOHEMIA, NY—FORUM 2020 promises to have “Color, Brands, Technology: The Complete Package.” The event takes place April 19-22, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus in Columbus, OH. Chair Hank Welter of TC Transcontinental Packaging and Co-Chair Ellen Farrell of Dupont Advanced Printing have been joined by a committee of industry experts to create a four-day agenda packed with essential technical content on topics crucial to flexography.
“Three great days at Fall Conference 2019 have me excited and looking forward to FORUM 2020. The bar has been set high, and session chairs and FTA staff are hard at work building out the ‘Complete Package,’” said Welter. “FORUM 2020 will focus on color, brands and technologies, with a mix of veterans, first-time speakers and Emerging Leaders Committee members in a variety of session formats.”
FORUM 2020’s agenda will reinforce its theme with nine technical sessions spread across four days. Presentations will cover everything from the past, present and future of plate making, to what brand owners are looking for from their print partners, to screening technologies that reduce ink consumption while increasing print quality.
“FORUM 2020’s theme tells the story of its sessions’ technical nature,” added Farrell. “Attendees will leave with increased knowledge of color measurement, control and consistency; brand owner needs and challenges; and a deep understanding of the latest technology advancements and their applications for converter and premedia companies.”
FORUM 2020 will be held in conjunction with INFOFLEX 2020, which takes place April 20-21 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. While the event is already 70 percent sold, turnkey booths are still available. Contact Jay Kaible, FTA director of membership and business development, at 631-737-6020 ext. 120 for details.
