BOHEMIA, NY – July 11, 2018– Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), producers of the No. 1 educational conference for the package printing and converting industry—Forum 2019, announced the official chair and co-chair of the event are Ann Michaud of 3M Co. and Hank Welter of TC Transcontinental Packaging. Forum 2019 is set to take place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel May 5-8.
Ann co-chaired Forum 2018in Indianapolis, IN, where she helped bring in more than 1,700 attendees from around the world to hear about the latest innovations in the package printing and converting industry.
A distinguished member of FTA for more than 20 years, Hank has been active serving as a speaker at past events and as a Board member from 2011-2018. Coupling active membership with a lifelong passion for package printing, Hank is a strong addition to the 2019 event and looks forward to 2020, when he will be serving as Forum chair.
“The Forum 2019 leadership committee is already actively preparing for the event,” said Ann. “We are excited about bringing together another talented group of industry experts to create what we hope to be a valuable agenda for all printers and industry members. As the two begin shaping the Forum 2019 agenda, Ann and Hank bring more than 50 years’ combined experience to the planning table. As brainstorming ensues and abstracts are reviewed, attendees can expect to see some fresh faces speaking about in-depth technical topics.
Planning is also well underway for INFOFLEX, the trade show co-located with Forum. The show floor will be open from May 6-7 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
