BOHEMIA, NY—At FTA’s FORUM 2021, flexographers learned how to increase efficiency at every point of the flexographic workflow through nearly 30 live and interactive technical presentations.

Attendees from around the world participated in the two-week technical conference, which took place May 11-14 and May 18-21 in FTA’s Virtual Conference Center. Industry experts discussed a range of topics that included print quality scoring, color theory and consistency, establishing standard operating procedures, plate technologies, customer satisfaction, defect detection and correction, and screening technologies.

“Efficiency as a concept and efficiency in practice are two different things. FORUM 2021’s presenters showed how to take the concept and apply it practically to improve how flexographers do their jobs,” said FORUM 2021 Chair Ellen Farrell of DuPont Cyrel® Solutions. “Its invaluable content demonstrates why FORUM is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for flexographers to hone their skills and learn from the best.”

“As a virtual conference, FORUM 2021 brought features like live polling and Q&As to an expansive international audience,” added program Co-chair Pacificolor’s Bart Wright. “That interactivity, combined with a carefully planned agenda reflective of real-world flexographic challenges, make FTA’s conferences must-attend—regardless of their location.”

Also taking place virtually on May 25 is Innovation Central, the intimate theater for technology focused presentations at INFOFLEX. Virtual Innovation Central will have a half-dozen product specialists discussing game changing technologies and how to implement them. Registration is complimentary and open now.

FTA would like to thank FORUM 2021 sponsors for their continued support:
