EISLINGEN, Germany—Andreas Koch has been named new head of printing inks at Zeller+Gmelin GmbH & Co KG.
The printing ink manufacturer has set itself the goal of expanding its traditionally successful business line of UV printing inks for analogue processes and further developing additional innovative printing ink technologies. These activities are important to securing the company’s long-term future, according to Zeller+Gmelin. Andreas Koch’s extensive experience in this field is one of the reasons that Zeller+Gmelin has entrusted him with the management of the printing inks business unit.
After studying printing technology at the Stuttgart Media University, the now-52-year-old worked in responsible positions for several manufacturers of printing inks and for paper and repro companies. In his most recent position, he built up a new business unit for digital printing inks for an ink manufacturer. The focus on new markets such as digital printing will also play an important role in his commitment to Zeller+Gmelin.
Koch will be given full responsibility for the global printing inks business and will lead all areas from sales, development and product management to technical service. In this position he will report directly to Siegfried Müller, CEO of Zeller+Gmelin.
