OKLAHOMA CITY, OKMaxcess, a global leader in innovative products and services for web handling applications, has named Tim Quinn as vice president of global supply chain.

“Tim is a performance-driven leader with a track record of building strong sourcing teams and implementing effective procurement strategies across diverse industries in complex, global organizations,” said Doug Knudtson, chief operating officer for Maxcess.

Tim was most recently vice president of strategic sourcing for Standex International, a leading manufacturer of food service equipment. Prior to that he was vice president of global supply chain for Ametek, a global provider of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices. Tim has also led global supply chain activities as the chief procurement officer for the Elster Group (now Honeywell), a German-headquartered world leader in metering technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Florida State University and a Master of Arts in communication from the University of South Florida.
