BRUSSELS, Belgium—Nilpeter A/S reported a successful Labelexpo Europe 2019, headlined by the introduction of new solutions, the finalization of many ongoing projects and the initiation of several new and exciting projects.
During the show, Nilpeter showcased the FA-17, running the company’s 100-year anniversary “Nodo d’Amore” wine label job, with new high-build inkJet varnish, high-opacity white inkjet, and semi-rotary die cutting units.
Furthermore, the FA-22 ran two shrink sleeve jobs, protein powder and drinkable yogurt labels, meeting market trends of wider web label printing complete with a new 22-in. quick-change diecutting unit.
Last but not least, Labelexpo Europe 2019 marked the world première of Nilpeter’s new FA-26, built for value-added short run flexible packaging and labels—from pouches and sachets, to wrap-arounds, shrink sleeves, labels and more. All inline.
“We had a great show in Brussels—many existing projects were finalized, and several new ones picked up for our recently introduced products. The attendees spoke highly of our new inkjet units, and were very impressed by the quality, and speed, of which the FA handles demanding ink laydowns on complex labels,” said Jakob Landberg, sales and marketing director, Nilpeter A/S.
“Both the high-quality shrink sleeve jobs running on the FA-22, and the impressive wine label job running on the FA-17, proved to be great conversation starters, initiating a number of new and exciting projects that will continue in the coming months,” he continued.
According to Nilpeter, the show was well attended by serious visitors armed with serious plans for serious investments.
“For starters, it was great to see that our industry—despite challenging times—is very optimistic and proactive. Not only did the bell ring in the double digits, the feedback we received on the world première of the FA-26 printing unit was overwhelming, to say the least. Even better than we could have hoped for, with concrete projects and several very hot leads to show for it,” Landberg concluded.
