NEENAH, WI—Menasha Packaging Company, a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation, has named Michael D. Riegsecker as its new president, effective Sept. 1. Riegsecker previously was chief operating officer of Menasha Packaging. He joined the company in 1992 and will succeed Michael K. Waite, who recently announced his retirement as president of Menasha Packaging Company. With the elevation of Riegsecker to president of Menasha Packaging, Waite moves into the role of executive vice president of strategy and business development where he will continue to support various growth and strategic initiatives until his Dec. 31 retirement date.
Prior to his position as chief operating officer, Riegsecker held several progressive positions at Menasha Packaging, including general manager, group vice president and senior vice president of sales. He is a graduate of Purdue University and was with International Paper prior to Menasha Packaging.
