ATLANTA, GAMacDermid Graphics Solutions announced the MacDermid Graphics Solutions Scholarship in Graphic Communications (GC) at Clemson University. This scholarship is meant to help attract and retain exceptional student talent in GC for Clemson and the graphics arts industry.

Clemson’s GC program is top-ranked in the U.S. and has a global reputation for its outstanding faculty, students and industry support. “MacDermid has been a long-standing partner with Clemson, and we are proud to be a sponsor of their GC Scholars Program,” said Melanie Galloway, senior vice president of MacDermid Graphics Solutions. “Our sponsorship honors our commitment to the next generation of GC talent.”

Scholarships will be awarded to deserving students based on a combination of academic accomplishments and financial need. “As a 1986 graduate of Clemson University’s graphic communications program and the proud father of a daughter who’s also a Clemson GC graduate (2014), I’m proud to be a part of a company that recognizes the value of Clemson’s GC students. The next generation of Clemson GC grads are already having a positive impact in the printing industry, and it is my hope other industry partners will seek to participate in this scholarship opportunity at Clemson,” said Trey Beckman, director, global business development at MacDermid Graphics Solutions.
