APPLETON, WI—Jeremy Stimpson will begin a new role with Great Northern Corp (GNC) as vice president, general manager of the Racine facility, effective Jan. 1. Stimpson is currently the director of design and client services at GNC-Twin Cities.
Stimpson joined GNC with the acquisition of Creative Carton in 2008. He started at Creative Carton in 2005 as the design manager. Prior to Creative Carton, Stimpson held positions in information systems, print operations, and marketing and business unit leadership at Taylor Corp, a multi-billion dollar private company based in Minnesota.
“Jeremy’s leadership experience will serve him well in his new position,” said Jeff Michels, president, packaging and instore of GNC. “He successfully led the standardization of the front-end system across all of our plants with the adoption of WebCenter and Automation Engine, as well as introduced prepress, lithography and digital printing at our Twin Cities facility for our Instore markets.”
Stimpson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris with a degree in business, and of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota where he earned an MBA.
