Inovar Packaging Group Acquires ModTek

DALLAS–Inovar Packaging Group has acquired ModTek LLC, a leading regional prime label producer, based in Pennsauken, NJ, marking another milestone in Inovar’s growth strategy. ModTek is the 11th platform acquisition for this FTA member.  Inovar currently stretches across 13 locations nationwide, with plants focusing on prime labels, shrink sleeves and extended content and sustainable packaging solutions for top brands.

ModTek specializes in pressure sensitive and extended content labels serving the food/beverage, craft beer, wine, spirits and durable goods markets. It offers flexographic, digital and hybrid printing capabilities, as well as premium embellishments—hot stamping and embossing.

Shawn Borman,, owner of ModTek, his family business, will continue to lead the New Jersey operations in partnership with the Inovar corporate team.
