One of the hardest words anyone in packaging sales can say is the word “no.”

It’s a hard word to hear and often is even more difficult to say. However, understanding what a company is able to do, and what it’s not able to do, is critical to success—for both the client and the manufacturer.

Meyers, a long-time FTA member, has said “yes” to a lot of new innovations over the years. Anyone who tours our 250,000 sq. ft. facility in Brooklyn Park, MN, sees this innovation brought to life through 40-in. to 81-in. lithographic presses, narrow web flexographic presses, hybrid presses and conductive inks. We have a tremendous amount of innovative drive and capacity to say “yes” to new and exciting projects, most of which have been dreamt up by our growing list of clients.

Even with all that said, we’re merely a small slice of a large pie called “Packaging Converters in the US.” Having a level of humility and knowledge is helpful when wrestling with a project at its inception and being able to stick to our guns and say, “You know what, that’s not a great fit for us, maybe you want to reach out to ABC Company. Do you want a contact there?”

Vast Network

Many times, passing off opportunities to other incredible people in the industry is one of the joys of my life. As a keynote speaker and packaging podcast host, I’ve been blessed with an incredible network. And I’m thrilled to share my network with the customers at Meyers for those times when we can’t solely rise to the occasion and meet their demands. Trust me, this is a conversation we are privileged to have. It’s this level of honestly, I believe, which has connected us with some of our great clients for long-term partnerships.

It all starts with the customer’s problems, not our solutions. Determining the right fit is done in conjunction with the customer. Once we fully understand their needs, their timing and their messaging, the sales rep will align with our internal team to ensure we have direction to move forward or not.

At Meyers, the entire team has a laser focus on collaboration and excellence, which creates endless possibilities for unrivaled customer success.

We’re a manufacturer with serious scale, an expert design studio and a family company that cares deeply about our team, our partners and the brands we serve as customers. As a premier print manufacturer, we’ve been helping clients and their brands stand out, attract new customers and drive more sales since 1949. But we’re not a silver bullet for every problem. We know that and our customers know it too.

A Step Ahead

Holding true to the critical nature of brand consistency, Meyers has been offering captivating and innovative solutions for 70+ years. Packages produced in our plant exemplify high impact, custom designs, and a commitment to excellence and technology, so necessary in helping elevate a brand. Through innovation and responsiveness, we turn ideas into solutions that win in the dynamic and constantly changing retail environment. Following a collaborative approach, nothing is overlooked. Everything we do is process driven.

“Bring imagination to life!” That’s our credo. It’s applied daily as CPCs search for smart packaging solutions and clamor for sustainable packaging, personalization, minimalism, versioning, shapes and social media consciousness.

Meyers has the experience and tools to make such visions reality. We rely on, “creative solutions, flawless designs and next-level partnerships.” To this end, we’ve made major investments in state-of-the-art equipment—from digital, offset or flexographic printing to pre-engineered and custom 3D displays. This includes some of the world’s largest and most versatile presses that can print on virtually any substrate imaginable. Converting capabilities include die cutting, finishing, laminating, slitting and more.

Meyers designs and manufactures product labeling, packaging and retail merchandising solutions for packaged consumer goods, as well as innovative large-format graphics, displays and cards. Our commitment to collaboration, innovation, creative problem solving and exceptional design allows us to engineer solutions that keep our clients one step ahead of their competition. Not many companies can compete with the team and showroom we have.

We produce millions of custom product labels every year for the world’s leading brands including Hormel, Aveda and Ulta Beauty. A lot goes into creating the perfect label—from the artwork to the materials to size specifications. Meyers offers traditional flexographic, digital and digital/flexographic hybrid label manufacturing. This allows us to create a full range of custom labels, which could include variations across many SKUs, intricate finishing, unique serialization, secure coupons and more.
