MILAN, Italy—Two new viscometers have become part of the GAMA International products portfolio for quality control of inks and adhesives.
- G31 is a system for pH control, temperature and viscosity of water-based inks for the corrugated market
- G32 is for control and correction of water-based adhesives, varnishes and lacquers
The main feature—present in these products as well as in all GAMA systems—is the ability to automatically guarantee the correct quality of the ink during rotogravure or flexographic printing, in order to obtain high-quality printed material at any printing speed.
The new products were presented in December in Sao Paulo, Brazil, during a seminar organized by GAMA International through its distributor Coras do Brasil in collaboration with Koenig & Bauer Flexotecnica. Sante Conselvan, commercial director of GAMA International, with Gustavo Virginillo of Coras do Brasil, expressed his satisfaction in seeing the participation of many of the most important Brazilian packaging printers: “Customers appreciated the new products, noting that the high-quality features of GAMA viscometers did not fail in these new process control solutions for inks, varnishes and water-based adhesives, widely used in food packaging applications.”
The seminar was the first opportunity to present the entire range of GAMA International products on the Brazilian market: the various versions of viscometers, anilox and photopolymer washing systems and sleeve storage systems.
Thanks to the new products, GAMA International received the Qualidade Flexo Professor Sergio Vay award for the third consecutive year, in Brazil. The award, delivered during a ceremony held on Sept. 11, 2018, is an important recognition for the Brazilian packaging industry, whose contest is organized by ABFLEXO (Brazilian Technical Association of Flexography).
