CHARLOTTE, NC—FLXON’s Ryan Sharkey, VP sales, is scheduled to give a presentation on recent doctor blade technology advancements and why they matter at the upcoming Harper Corporation of America Roadshow. The event will take place at Fullerton College in Fullerton, CA on Thursday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
This presentation will discuss advances in doctor blade technology that meet the demands of HD flexo, especially at high speeds. It will answer questions related to selecting between different grades of steels, if plastic makes sense, coated blades, which thickness and edge is right for your application and address safety concerns. Ultimately this presentation will help you determine which blade is a best value option in your pressroom.
Ryan’s presentation will include ways to:
- Prevent dot gain and dirty print—even on long runs
- Eliminate back doctoring, end seal leaking and UV spitting
- Lower doctor blade use and annual spending
- Reduce downtime and mid-run press stops
- Prevent anilox wear and damage
This event is for press operators, print supervisors, print managers, pre-press managers, graphic designers, ink/plate/pre-press suppliers, and general and ops managers.
There is no cost to attend and a complimentary lunch is included. Send as many attendees as you’d like, but register quickly, as space is limited.
