HAMPSHIRE, UK–Edale, a leading manufacturer of high-quality flexographic carton and label presses, has expanded its reach into the North American market with the appointment of Maggie Reed as sales manager.

The appointment reinforces the company’s commitment to exceptional service on a global basis and is set to drive Edale’s growth in the United States. A highly experienced name in the industry, Reed’s tenure at companies such as Fujifilm saw her working closely with Edale.

Darren Pickford, sales director at Edale, commented, “We are delighted to welcome Maggie to the business. She has already hit the ground running, forging new relationships and contacts in her area to build on our 40-year history of supplying the US market. As we look to accelerate our presence and commercial footprint, Maggie’s appointment marks a significant step in that journey.

“With a rich 75-year heritage, Edale is very much a people-centric business. We pride ourselves on having an exceptional team and delivering outstanding one-to-one service for our carton and label customers. Maggie’s experience and skills make her an ideal fit for us as we continue to solidify a very strong position throughout the US and Canada. For converters looking to level up their label and carton operations, Maggie is on call to make it a reality.”

Reed, an active member of FTA’s Excellence in Flexography Awards Committee, stated: “I’m delighted to join the Edale team, having been impressed in previous roles by the expertise and customer focus they offer. The technology is market leading and is perfectly positioned to help customers improve print quality, productivity and profitability. There are many highlights, but we’re expecting to see great interest in the FL5 Carton Production line in particular, which brings many of the complex carton production processes fully inline. It is a unique and more sustainable solution, offering features and benefits that we believe no other press on the market today can match.”

“Printers and converters are under pressure to deliver, and that’s where our advancements in efficiency have been recognized with numerous excellence in print awards by the FTA. I look forward to sharing that with our customers both new and existing, across the US.”
