FAIRFIELD, NJCyngient, a full-service, technology-driven provider of inks, coatings and adhesives for label and packaging converters, has been named a Top 10 Industrial Adhesive Solution provider by Manufacturing Outlook. The list was compiled by Manufacturing Outlook in order to help businesses select adhesives suppliers that best meet their requirements.

“One of the critical innovations in the adhesive industry, at present, is in pressure sensitive material, which is now gaining market share globally. There are many reasons for this growth, including the increased demand for essential items, as well as advancements in chemistry,” according to Manufacturing Outlook, whose mission is to “showcase various enterprise solutions that can restructure business goals for a better tomorrow.”

Known throughout the labels and packaging industry for its commitment to innovation and brand enhancement, Cyngient met the criteria to be among Manufacturing Outlook’s Top 10 Adhesive Solutions providers.

“It is an honor to be nominated and recognized as a distinguished adhesives supplier,” comments Andrew Wasserman, managing partner for Cyngient. “We take great pride in the partnership approach we have toward working with both converters and brand owners alike, and this acknowledgement is a testament to not only our capabilities, but also those of our clients, who understand that innovation is everything, and strive toward raising the bar when it comes to their products and packaging.”

HYPERcolor, part of Cyngient’s line of HYPERcure structural adhesives, is among Cyngient’s adhesive technology innovations that got the attention of Manufacturing Outlook. Expanding the number of shrink sleeve cold foil color options for brand owners, HYPERcolor is a pigmented cold foil adhesive that is a low-cost alternative to hot stamping, and a new method for brand enhancement.

“HYPERcolor offers true innovation,” says Wasserman. “It creates an expanded gamut of cold foil colors—utilizing just silver foil and a single print station—which brings down total of overall costs when compared to pigmented foils. HYPERcolor also provides shrink sleeve converters with an eco-friendly solution that is Nestlé-compliant and adheres to California Proposition 65, all while providing a lower migration option to standard adhesives.

In addition to HYPERcolor and HYPERcure, Cyngient offers a comprehensive portfolio of pressure sensitive adhesives, including both UV and LED formulations as well as the new hybrid FLIPcure product line which combines UV and LED technology. These products are used in a variety of applications, including extended content, film-to-film, film-to-paper, and lamination.

Wasserman adds, “Within all the markets we serve, we bring to our customers outside-the-box thinking. Our team of polymer chemists have more than 100 years of combined experience to develop products that provide the best adhesion for any given situation—while taking on the toughest challenges.

“Brand enhancement is our culture,” Wasserman continues. “Our goal is to elevate the creativity that designers are looking for, and we’ve had great success in doing just that. Getting this recognition from Manufacturing Outlook is a tremendous honor.”
