PRESIDENT’S

AWARD

The FTA President’s Award is given to individuals selected by FTA’s president who demonstrate steadfast commitment to supporting the Association.

When announcing in the June 1991 issue of FLEXO Magazine the first four recipients of the FTA President’s Award, then-FTA President George J. Parisi was succinct in explaining the criteria which they met:

“Four individuals were selected to receive the FTA President’s Award for outstanding, unselfish, as well as continuous service both to FTA and to the entire flexography community.”

In the years since, FTA presidents have identified dozens of other individuals worthy of their namesake award, all displaying qualities identical to that inaugural group.

For more than 30 years, the FTA President’s Award has been given to individuals chosen by the Association’s management for their support, volunteerism and dedication. The full roster stretches back to 1991 when Charlie Brown, Luigi Carraro, Fred Shapiro and Frank Siconolfi were the first flexographers to receive the honor.
