Blame the Corona Treater: Dispelling Myths & Mysteries
When inks fail to bond with substrates, converters are quick to blame the corona treater. And why shouldn’t they? Corona treaters are responsible for adhesion, right? Well, not entirely. This presentation clears the air on misconceptions regarding corona treating and provides practical insights on: what a corona treater really does, how to measure applied treatment (watt density), ways to measure effectiveness of treatment (dyne levels), how seemingly small material and process changes impact success, and troubleshooting tips to get you back up and running quickly. Whether you are new to corona treating or an industry veteran we promise you this presentation will provide you with practical insights to improve your operations.
