BOHEMIA, NY—The FTA Board of Directors and FFTA Board of Trustees are pleased to announce Brad Pareso as the Association’s new president, effective August 7, 2023.

As president, Brad will continue to lead FTA’s day-to-day operations, manage its various business units, and establish short- and long-term strategic plans that enable the Association to evolve to meet its membership’s needs, responsibilities he took on when he generously stepped into the role of interim president after the departure of Robb Frimming, FTA’s former president, earlier this year.

“We are very excited that Brad has accepted this prestigious presidential role at FTA. His knowledge of the functionality on a day-to-day basis and history filling different roles inside the Association have provided him the knowledge to step into the president’s role,” said FTA Board of Directors Chair Jennye Scott of Berry Global and FFTA Board of Trustees Chair Laura Wright of CSW Inc. “We look forward to Brad supporting the staff and our members as he continues to fulfill the mission of the FTA.”

Brad has proven his ability to lead the Association and its outstanding staff over the past several months, which led the Boards to vote unanimously to offer him the position of president on a permanent basis. This decision was supported by several members of the staff who recognize his ability to communicate well, lead a productive team, and bring new efficiencies and cost savings to FTA. He has comprehensive knowledge of the organization and is committed to its ongoing health as well as the improvement of its service to its membership.

“My first decade at FTA has been a life-changing experience. I am both humbled and incredibly excited to cap it off by taking on the role of the Association’s president,” said Brad. “Working with our excellent staff and aided by the assistance of our Boards and countless volunteers, I look forward to growing FTA’s reputation as the greatest technical association for the package printing industry.”

Brad joined the FTA in 2013 as managing editor of FLEXO Magazine. In 2017, he was promoted to the role of content manager and digital strategist, expanding his responsibilities tied to content creation and assuming oversight of FTA’s website and digital properties. In 2019, he added the Association’s marketing to his scope with his promotion to director of content and digital strategy. And in 2020, he was elevated to vice president, working alongside then-FTA President Mark Cisternino to lead the Association’s daily operations and guide its long-term strategy.

Brad has degrees in journalism and economics, as well as a minor in business administration, from Pennsylvania State University. He is an award-winning author and editor, and has performed twice at Carnegie Hall as part of a New York City-wide orchestra. Brad resides in Woodcliff Lake, NJ with his wife, 6-month-old son and dog.
