OSHKOSH, WIOEC Graphics, a Wisconsin-based prepress and graphics provider, announces the launch of Seamex E3, a new ITR (in-the-round) elastomer sleeve that will complement their original Seamex photopolymer sleeve product. With the purchase of a new Cosmos Flexo 2300 from German manufacturer AKK, OEC is now producing elastomer sleeves within its Oshkosh, WI headquarters. The addition of DLE (direct laser engraved) elastomer sleeves allows OEC to offer the full gamut of ITR, with both Seamex and Seamex E3 being seamless, customizable products that meet the different needs of every printer.

Seamex E3 provides optimal printing by eliminating plate lift, increasing press speeds, providing high-quality print and durability, while allowing for the ability to control dot height. According to Jason Nelson, OEC’s corporate director of operations, “We are focusing on enhancing the Seamex E3 product to outperform all previous expectations of printing with an elastomer sleeve. We will accomplish this by leveraging our long history of manufacturing photopolymer Seamex products. We look forward to expanding into the market with our newest seamless technology.”
