BOHEMIA, NY—FTA has revealed the recipients of the 2022 FTA Excellence in Flexography Awards, the longest-running annual print competition for the flexographic industry.

The award-winning prints were unveiled on Sunday, March 13 during the Awards Banquet at FORUM 2022, FTA’s annual four-day technical conference.

“The Excellence in Flexography Awards lets flexographers prove their expertise in so many different applications,” said Excellence in Flexography Awards Committee Member Alix Guyot of tesa tape. “The submissions—and especially the winners—are always such a great opportunity to see how our industry continues to innovate. We saw print samples demonstrating flawless execution and color consistency only achieved by using advanced techniques and processes.”

Hundreds of print samples were reviewed by the competition’s judges, together representing different segments of the flexographic industry. Each entry was evaluated using more than a dozen scoring criteria to determine degree of difficulty, level of execution and overall quality.

Six prints were chosen as Best of Show in their respective categories:

In addition to the Excellence in Flexography Awards, FTA also announced the recipients of its other honors and awards, including the 2022 Technical Innovation Award, 2022 Sustainability Excellence Award, President’s Award honorees and Hall of Fame inductee.
