WILTSHIRE, UKTroika Systems Ltd, developer and manufacturer of the world-leading AniCAM 3D Inspection Microscope for Anilox, Gravure and Flexoplate Measurement and Inspection, is excited to announce it has won the Innovation Award for Business Process at this year’s Stationers Awards.

Described as a “really challenging category to judge with engagement of entries delivering socioeconomic and environmental gains for consumers as really high with some fascinating development stories” by the Stationers Award judges, the category included processes for waste reduction with a beneficial environmental impact.

On winning the award, Sales Director Jon Jordan was asked by joint host for the event, Peter Day, former host of BBC Radio 4’s, In Business program, who was also one of the judges in the panel “What is so special about the process you have devised?” In response, Jon expressed that “the AniCAM HD for the first time is really building the accuracy and simplicity of checking the aniloxes, for press. For the printers it is making a huge environmental impact, we estimated this last 12 months we have saved in excess of 1 billion square meters of waste material being generated in the flexographic print industry.”

Adding to this, Managing Director Laurie Geldenhuys expressed his delight at winning the award, stating, “We work as one Team here at Troika, all the staff work very hard to produce a world class product that is second to none in its field, I’m very proud of the effort everyone makes every day on behalf of our customers, they should all be very proud of themselves.”
