BOHEMIA, NYFORUM 2021, the 63rd iteration of the flexographic industry’s largest technical conference, will show how to “Prosper Through Efficiency” when it convenes May 2-5 in Kansas City, MO.

“We’re all anxious to leave 2020 behind, but this year taught us valuable lessons about how to do business in extreme circumstances,” said FORUM 2021 Chair Ellen Farrell of DuPont Image Solutions. “The conference agenda we’re putting together will feature printer success stories, empowering technologies and out-of-the-box thinking that every flexographer can carry into the future.”

That agenda includes the real-world results of Print Quality Scoring from a brand owner and its print partner, an examination of advanced color theory and its applications, and how to enhance print quality through screening. Plus, back-to-back session covering the establishment of standard operating procedures and how to recover when those procedures are not followed. And, the return of attendee-favorites in The Great Plate Debate 2021 and The Defectives.

“Our focus is on efficiency, so naturally our first task was to identify the most efficient ways to present that efficiency-focused content,” explained FORUM 2021 Co-Chair Bart Wright of Pacificolor. “The resulting nine technical sessions cover areas of printer workflows that can most benefit from improved efficiency.”

FORUM 2021 will be held in conjunction with INFOFLEX 2021, which takes place May 3-4. A limited number of booths are available; contact FTA Director of Membership & Business Development Jay Kaible at 631-737-6020 ext. 120 for details.
