HERFORD, Germany—Allstein announced the retirement of Kurt Flathmann after 47 years in the packaging industry—the last eight years working for Allstein as head of sales in North America.
Flathmann started initially at Pamarco, then went to Bobst Champlain, then Fischer & Krecke, then Bobst when it bought F&K, and finally participated in starting up Allstein.
Flathmann is very well known and respected throughout the packaging and package printing industry with many friends. He has decided it’s time to enjoy more time with his wife and do more fly fishing and traveling.
Allstein is delighted to recognize Flathmann’s many contributions during his long and successful career and wish him all the best in his new endeavors.
At the same time, Allstein announces Tim Fox will succeed Kurt Flathmann as VP sales, effective July 1.
Fox comes in with more than 30 years of experience in printing equipment and is well respected in the packaging business having worked at QuadTech, AVT, Paper Converting Machine Co and MPS NA. His background includes general management, sales and service with emphasis on flexographic presses and ancillary press equipment.
