ALEXANDRIA, VA—Michael M. D’Angelo begins his tenure as president of AICC, The Independent Packaging Association as of July 1.
AICC Chairman Joseph M. Palmeri, president corrugated packaging, Jamestown Container Cos, said, “we look forward to Mike’s leadership and success at the Association. During his tenure as AICC vice president, he has shown his knowledge of the markets, pragmatic leadership, and drive. His longstanding relationships in the industry and ability to engage AICC members also bolsters his ability to help grow AICC and ensure its vitality.”
D’Angelo has been part of the AICC staff as vice president for nearly three years, following a long history of experience and service in the corrugated, folding carton, and rigid box industries in sales and executive roles at Bobst, an active AICC member, and Goss International. In addition to previous Associate Membership in AICC, Mike has served on the Board of Directors of the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation, including a term as chairman in 2007/2008. He also co-chaired the corrugated-focused session, “Transitioning from Brown Boxes to Multi-Color Flexographic Printing – Join the Growth,” at Forum 2019.
“I am thankful to the Board of Directors and all AICC members for the opportunity they have given me. I have always held the mission of AICC in the highest regard, and I look forward to being a part of its continuing and evolving success in serving the independent corrugated, folding carton and rigid box industries,” said D’Angelo.
