MILAN, Italy—GAMA International had a successful INFOFLEX 2019, which took place in New Orleans, LA May 6-7.
The two-day event, combining trade show and technical sessions at Forum, closed with very positive results for GAMA International, with visitors coming from different segments of the flexo industry.
GAMA International’s products were shown on both GAMA Americas’ and Pamarco’s booths. The company introduced its new G32 for the viscosity and pH control and correction of water-based adhesives, varnishes and lacquers for converting and laminating applications. It was also a further occasion to show the G31 for the corrugated cardboard market.
At INFOFLEX, GAMA Americas also presented, for the first time in the US, the sleeve storage systems. The logistic line consists of three solutions: the manual storage system, the semi-automatic and the fully automatic one. These systems can solve the storage problem for materials such as cylinders, sleeves, film and paper rolls.
Ward Walsh, general manager at GAMA Americas, was satisfied with the networking opportunities. “We had a great turnout both on GAMA Americas’ and Pamarco’s booths. INFOFLEX is a very strategic event for us, as it gives us the opportunity to meet customers and prospects from all Americas, and also to intensify relations with press supplier partners.”
Pamarco, GAMA International distributor for North America, shared the same satisfaction. John Rastetter, VP sales and marketing, commented: “The event was particularly well attended as industry leaders visited our stand to learn about several technologies that enhance productivity and profitability. The combination of Pamarco’s anilox and Absolute in conjunction with GAMA’s ink control systems, Trelleborg sleeve systems and Inometa bridges offers industry-leading technology that drives flexo into the future.”
