FORT MILL, SC—Wikoff Color Corp has agreed to purchase the assets of Braden Sutphin Ink Company (Cleveland, OH), increasing their service capabilities and exposure in the North American market.

Founded in 1913 by Jim Braden, Braden Sutphin is a privately owned full-service printing ink and supply company. The company’s first employee was Al Sutphin who later acquired a 100 percent ownership interest by the 1930s. Today Braden Sutphin operates from 10 locations across the country, primarily in the East, Central, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. The current CEO, Jim Leitch has continued the tradition of supplying the highest quality products to the printing industry.
Wikoff Color Corp, an employee-owned company founded in 1956, manufactures high-performance printing inks and coatings for the graphic arts industry. Wikoff Color employs over 500 people in its 28 manufacturing plants and numerous in-plant centers worldwide. Wikoff Color’s corporate office is located in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
