BRUSSELS, Belgium—ABG International reports that Labelexpo Europe, which took place Sept. 25 to 28 in Brussels, Belgium, was its most successful to date.
“Not only did we sell all 19 machines exhibited at the show, but took in excess of 50 orders and have been inundated with enquiries since we returned home,” said Tony Bell, ABG’s sales director.
ABG’s new screen printing unit, with speeds double those of its previous model, gathered crowds throughout the show and ABG received orders for retrofits, as well as modules on new machines, reported the company.
“There was considerable interest in the Digicon Series 3 with FAST Track die, FleyeLink Workflow manager, new quick-change mandrels on the AutoSet glueless turret, and a new roll closure printer linked to the camera to identify any defects.”
One other innovation was their fully automatic turret rewinder on their SRI (slitter inspection rewinder), reportedly offering increased productivity to the finishing department.
