GUADALAJARA, Mexico—When the Italian-based converting group Eurostampa established a production facility in Cincinnati, OH in early 2007, it opened the door to key North American markets. The strategy proved successful and allowed for further expansion into the southern portion of North America.
Focused on the flexibility and versatility to meet high-quality consistency standards required by major brands worldwide, the first Omet XFlex X6 was installed in 2009, with a second and third in 2012 and 2013. In early 2017, Eurostampa North America opened a new production facility in Guadalajara, Mexico where another XFLex X6 will anchor the production for the company’s expansion into Latin America, further establishing its commitment to meet the demand of brand owners and continuing trends toward pressure-sensitive labels in the wine and spirit market.
Together, the quartet of inline multiprocess presses allow for more flexibility of print jobs and production volumes, while offering better cost management.
With a growing trend toward maximum shelf-appeal, converters are feeling the pressure from brand owners for innovative differentiation and labels that add to the product experience.
The XFlex X6 is capable of producing complex and creative label designs on a variety of substrates, allowing Eurostampa the flexibility to work even closer to brand owners and respond faster to meet and exceed innovations in their product lines.
