BOHEMIA, NY—Flexographic Technical Association is enhancing its webinars to be more engaging and responsive to member needs. Education remains at the core of these monthly events , designed to bring fresh content and faces to our audience, according to Kenny Tucker, director of education
“Our first webinar of the year, Flexography Demystified: A Crash Course for Newcomers, debuted on Feb. 27 and is now available on demand! With 118 registrants and growing interest, we anticipate even more participation in our upcoming sessions,” he reports. “This webinar is for flexo newcomers, covering ink transfer, photopolymer plates, key markets, and flexo’s pros and cons. A presentation-style event with questions and answers, it will help you identify flexo-printed packaging and understand the printing process.”
On March 27, FTA’s next webinar, “From Analog to Automation: The Technology Transforming The Plate Package,”. will be a discussion-based format surrounding new ideas for automation in the plate room and for plate mounting. Tucker maintains, “Conversation will cover topics from the recent history of plate making, current trends, and some of the newer technologies. Attendees will have a thorough understanding of options for the plate package. Our panel of speakers will be Nathan Plavnick, Brad Gasque, Nathan Rank, and Andy Knapp.”
