BOHEMIA, NY – The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) is encouraging those in the flexographic printing space to “Fall for FIRST”. This new program offers a 10% discount on the industry-recognized elite certification training programs for those who sign up during the months of September and October.

Individuals who successfully complete these trainings are equipped with the knowledge to produce high-quality and consistent results, pressrun after pressrun for their consumer packaging customers.

“We will also highlight the many benefits of getting FIRST Certified throughout these two Fall months. Interested parties can sign up in September and October and schedule the training for later in the year or early next year,” said Kenny Tucker Manager of Training Services.

He added, “Brand Owners are requiring more sustainability in the flexographic industry. When adhered to, the FIRST program helps flexographic printers address these goals. For example, a company experienced a 64% decrease in press waste after implementing FIRST. While this is an extreme result, all plants report positive savings and ROI benefits when following these processes and procedures. It literally pays for itself!”

Of note, 95% of industry professionals who have participated in these programs rated the experiences with five out of five stars. These basic online courses are the perfect tools to train new employees and reinforce standard practices to the more seasoned staff as well.
