GAMA International Signs Agreement with Absolute as New Dealer in UK and Ireland

GAMA International and Absolute are glad to announce their new partnership for the UK and Irish markets. Absolute, a company based in the UK and operating worldwide, specializes in ink doctoring and ink circuits for the flexographic industry and it is already a leading company in the corrugated and flexibles markets. GAMA International designs and produces automatic control systems for inks, paints, glues and adhesives, web-guide systems and format counting systems for the packaging, labels and converting processes.

ASL Print FX Continues to Earn Industry’s Highest Honors with Gallus RCS & ECS

ASL Print FX, with three North American locations, has earned an impressive 83 technical awards over the last 10 years—primarily for the high-end labels it produces for the wine and spirits market. To continuously earn such high honors requires the right “cocktail” of ingredients, which for ASL includes both its highly skilled operators and three Gallus presses installed at its Vaughn, Ontario location. Based on this previous success, ASL recently added a 10-color Gallus RCS 330 from Heidelberg to fuel growth and add versatility at its Napa, CA plant.

Rol-Tec Completes Major Plant Expansion

Rol-Tec has completed construction of a 15,700 sq. ft. addition to its Green Bay headquarters where it manufactures rubber covered rollers, metal roller bases, laser-engraved flexographic sleeves, and tungsten carbide roller coatings for printing, industrial and converting operations throughout North America. The company is also a unique manufacturer of custom cast urethane parts for a variety of industrial applications.

Heidelberg Sees Success with Gallus Products in North America, Adds Scot Neumann as New Sales Manager

Throughout much of 2020 and 2021, label and packaging converters alike have experienced tremendous demand for both their products and for shorter turnaround times from customers needing to keep grocery store shelves filled. As a result of this demand, Heidelberg has seen an uptick in its customers seeking to upgrade and add new Gallus narrow web presses to their production floors. Customers in the US, Canada, and Mexico have installed various Gallus presses in locations across North America over the past 18 months—with many customers installing the Gallus RCS, ECS, and Labelmaster machines.

DuPont Cyrel Solutions introduces the new Cyrel Lightning plate family at the FTA’s Fall Conference 2021 in Frisco, TX. These new printing plates are optimized for UV LED exposure systems, such as the Esko XPS Crystal, to make full use of these systems’ capabilities. The benefits of the plates include a further optimized match between access time and plate performance, while not compromising the print quality.
