FIRST Committee
Industry members who are responsible for providing updates to future versions of Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances (FIRST) gathered from FQC projects, newly adopted standards and suggestions submitted by members of the industry.
Flexo Quality Consortium (FQC)
FQC aims to help flexographers better understand factors affecting flexographic image quality. Members achieve this by setting goals, planning projects, supplying consumables, running trials, evaluating results, drafting reports, and presenting findings.
Membership Committee
The membership committee evaluates and implements plans to promote FTA membership to the various direct and indirect participants in the flexographic printing industry. Reviews and recommends programs to retain current members.
Awards Committee
The Awards Committee provides oversight and strategic guidance for all of FTA’s awards programs. The committee ensures the integrity, consistency, and continued impact of honors including the Excellence in Flexography Awards, Technical Innovation Award, Sustainability Excellence Award, Printer of the Year, Supplier of the Year, and FTA Scholarships. Through this stewardship, the committee helps recognize achievement, innovation, and leadership across the flexographic industry.
Scholarship Committee
Comprised of industry members who oversee all aspects of FFTA’s scholarships. Members review applications for the FFTA Flexography Scholarships, Gary Hilliard FQC Scholarship and FFTA Rossini North America Flexographic Research Scholarship, evaluating students’ research and project proposals, academic standing, financial need and extracurricular activities.
