Hebron, KY, July 27 --- Working with printers to help them meet the more demanding needs of customers, Lohmann has enhanced its existing line of DuploFLEX® mounting tapes by providing more solutions for a wider variety of printing parameters. By offering the flexibility of three specific thickness ranges and minimizing the thickness tolerance within a roll, printers can be assured of a decisive advantage over their competition by creating high quality print jobs, especially where tight registration is required.

“Our DuploFLEX 3 and DuploFLEX 4 ranges are especially useful for narrow-web printing demands,” commented Stan Riches, Sales Manager Graphics for Lohmann Technologies. “Printers can achieve excellent results in tight registration jobs, which really helps with die cutting, embossing or foiling applications, because we can control our thickness down to 0.015”.

Foam flexibility in the DuploFLEX 3, DuploFLEX 4 and DuploFLEX 5 range vary from soft for high quality process print to firm for heavier ink coverage needs. These foam mounting tapes are finished with a double-sided flexible PE reinforcement, thus reducing dot gain and supporting greater consistency versus the more typical mounting tapes that use a laminated PET film. Thicknesses cover 0.015”, 0.017” and 0.020” ranges, giving printers more selection control for their printing needs and going above the standard range.
