$10,000 Flexographic Research Fellowship Program Overview
Established in 1993, the Sun Chemical Corporation/FFTA Flexographic Research Fellowship is the first of its kind devoted to graduate level studies in the field of flexographic printing.
Eligibility
Students or professionals in the field of flexography and the graphic arts are encouraged to apply for the Fellowship. The applicant, if a student, must:
- Be full-time, in the U.S. or abroad, with a field of study in flexographic printing/converting technology
- Be enrolled in a qualified communication arts curriculum
- Hold a BS or BA degree in a related discipline
Fellowship Selection
The Fellowship selection process will be competitive. Selection criteria will include, but not be limited to, the applicant’s achievements, performance, and professional qualifications, and the merit and value of the proposed research project. Amount & Duration of Fellowship
The Sun Chemical Corporation/FFTA Flexographic Research Fellowship will provide five (5) stipends for research. One $10,000 non-renewable fellowship will be awarded each year for a total of five years, to a different individual in the graphic arts.

Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association was incorporated in 1974 under the laws of the State of New York as a not-for-profit foundation. Directed by a Board of Trustees, the activities of the Foundation are exclusively charitable, educational, and scientific. The Foundation is dedicated to advancing the flexographic printing process by sponsoring conferences, seminars, and workshops, collecting and evaluating technical data, and providing scholarships and other aid to further advance the flexo industry.
