About the band
A new sound is born. Listening to the music of Elio and the Hank Sinatra band may leave you asking yourself what is this music called? Most people just say it is real music that moves you and entertains like no other. A unique blend of classic R&B, soul music and the “Big Band Sound” combined with driving rhythms and master musicianship, creates this “Brand New” sound unlike any other artist.
Elio began playing bass with great country artists like Tanya Tucker, Tracy Bird, Andy Griggs, Pam Tillis, Raul Malo, The Mavericks and many others as a side-man musician performing all over the country and around the world.
A new musical experience is truly hard to come by these days, but Elio and the Hank Sinatra band deliver. You will leave wanting more, whether it’s the wailing of the sax, the unmistakeable guitar melodies, or the intriguing combination of upright-slap, fretless jazz and electric bass. Combine that with a unique and powerful vocal-style that is unlike any you’ve heard.
