Ronkonkoma, NY - November 3, 2008 - For nearly 15 years, the key associations serving the graphic communications industry have sponsored the National Environmental, Health & Safety Conference to help printers better understand and meet their environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance obligations. In recent years, the conference focus has shifted to sustainable printing due to the intense interest and demands from the printer's customer base for sustainable green printing.
Print buyers are now being offered the opportunity to help the printing industry along its sustainability journey. They are invited to participate as a Corporate Sponsor for this one-of- a-kind event that reaches all major print processes - flexographic, lithographic, screen-printing, digital imaging, and rotogravure. By becoming a Corporate Sponsor, print buyers not only reaffirm their commitment to sustainability, but will also be able to extend that commitment by providing their print suppliers with a discounted registration to the conference.
The 2009 conference program, themed "Printing for a Sustainable Future," is designed to assist printing companies with understanding elements of the newly launched Sustainable Green Printing (SGP) Partnership program (www.sgppartnership.org). The event is slated for March 16-18, 2009 in Indianapolis, IN. By attending, printers will gain the information they need to help them to plan and implement sustainability-related activities.
