Ronkonkoma, NY, October 22, 2008 - The Sustainable Green Printing (SGP) Partnership welcomes the Foil Stamping & Embossing Association (FSEA) as a Supporting Association.
FSEA is a non-profit organization established to increase the use of foil stamping and embossing through educational tools and programs for its members and the graphic arts industry as a whole. The association continues to strengthen the industry through education, seminars, statistical surveys, industry reports, reference tools, conventions, and more.
Recently, FSEA has taken steps towards a campaign to educate many sectors of the graphic arts and design communities on sustainability and other environmental issues related to foil stamping and embossing. This includes becoming an active partner in the SGP Partnership.
"With the continued focus on sustainability within the printing industry, we realize it is important that the FSEA stay on top of the issues that may affect our members and their customers," stated FSEA Executive Director Jeff Peterson. "Becoming more involved with the SGP Partnership is a solid first step to accomplish this goal."
FSEA's members that enter the SGP program will receive reduced registration, audit, and renewal rates. The association's financial support will be used to help defray costs.
