Foundation of Flexographic Technical Association (FFTA) has selected a theme for its annual Fall Conference & Tabletop Exhibit. “Packaging Premedia: Navigating the Shifting Sands from Strategy to Store Shelf” will take place on October 5-7, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN.
Chaired by Kevin Lanigan, Phototype and Bill Poulson, Harper Corporation of America, the conference will help attendees navigate the volatile environment known as “packaging premedia.” Two days of presentations and audience-engaging panel discussions will focus on the future of packaging premedia, off-shoring trends, and production design & integration. Additional subject matter includes: G7 in packaging; state-of-the-art digital proofing technologies; new plate imaging technologies; FIRST 4.0 (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications & Tolerances); color measurement & control; and ink calibration, just to name a few.
Bill Pope, FTA technical director commented “With the overall volatility in our world and our industry, this is a critical time to understand all the forces at work that impact our businesses. We need to seize every opportunity available to learn about these forces along with ongoing technological advancements so we can make the best decisions. The organizing team is working very hard to put together the best program possible so attendees get maximum value. Don’t miss this one!”
Attendees can take advantage of the early bird registration rates of $395 for FTA members and $795 for non-members, until Sept. 5, 2008. Thereafter, rates increase to $595 for members and $995 for non-members. Additional conference and registration details can be found at the conference webpage.
In addition to the presentations and panel discussions, the conference will feature a tabletop exhibition, which will coincide with conference breaks, breakfasts, lunches and two networking receptions.
