May 23, 2013 – Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) today announces the launch of its newly redesigned website, www.flexography.org. The main objective of the makeover was to enhance the overall navigation so that visitors can quickly and easily browse through the extensive catalogue of benefits and services that FTA offers.
In addition to easier navigation, the revamped site boasts a clean, graphic-rich layout, improved functionality and usability, and streamlined content.
“FTA’s new website is designed with our members first in mind,” said FTA/FFTA President Mark Cisternino. “The new site has an exciting new look and is more accessible, informative and interactive than ever before.”
The homepage, which received the majority of the restyling, now features an enhanced rotating slider graphic that prominently showcases a number of the Association’s most recent services and initiatives. Additionally, other homepage elements have been rearranged into a more user-friendly layout allowing individuals to quickly and easily access the information they seek, whether it be upcoming events, recent product announcements, industry-related news items or FLEXO Magazine articles, just to name a few.
According to FTA’s Director of Marketing Sharon Cox, this redesign is the first of many new web-based initiatives that the FTA plans for 2013.
She remarked, “In addition to this new site, FTA is in the midst of a major overhaul to its online store, as well as a mobile-friendly version of each. As the world’s leading association dedicated to advancing the flexographic print process it is critical that our members and the industry can easily and quickly access the technical information they seek. One way to achieve that is to ensure we always stay current with the latest web trends and mobile media.”
