Tapes Tackle On Press Problems

ROGERS, CT: – Rogers Corp.will be exhibiting its broad range of R/bak®  PSA2 and SA 2000 product line of open-cell urethane mounting tapes for narrow and wide web applications at the upcoming INFO*FLEX 2012, to be held March 19-20 in San Antonio, TX (Booth #506).

The R/bak PSA2 range consists of several rubber based adhesive tapes best used in printing applications that are susceptible to UV and elevated temperatures.  Available in a variety of thicknesses, including .020 in. up to .080 in., PSA2 offers the highest adhesion for consistent high quality solids and diminish dot gain for eliminating problem areas on press.

Every print job is different and R/bak SA 2000 cushion mounting materials offer various compressibility levels to accommodate a full range of printing applications.  The unique performance properties of the SA 2000 absorbs shock better, which contributes to improved operating performance through faster startups, higher line speeds, and fewer press adjustments while still providing award-winning print results.

Today’s worldwide printing market strives for lower operational costs while achieving superior press performance. Rogers constantly responds to its customers’ needs for consistent results, higher print quality, higher productivity, easier handling and fewer on-press adjustments. Printers worldwide rely on Rogers’ open-cell urethane R/bak® cushion mounting foams and tapes for shock absorption, cushioning, compressibility, improved registration and reduced dot gain.
