Esko World Focus = Flagship Products & Functionality

New Orleans, LA: “Results that make you smile” was the theme of Esko World 2012, staged June 17-20 in The Big Easy. Some 400 customers turned out for a series of hard-hitting lectures, supplemented by hands-on flagship product tutorials that stressed both flexibility and functionality. On the agenda, according to Jan De Roeck, Esko’s director solutions management, was packaging rich workflows, value solutions, brand owner tools and a heavy focus on color management.

Presentation titles included: “The Brave New World of Design,” “Packaging Education in a Path to Purchase Environment,” “Digital Flexo Solutions,” “Print Standards for Packaging,” “Customization in Flexo Platemaking, and “Prepress Tools for Expanded Color Gamut Printing.”

Esko Partners on hand for a tabletop exhibition portion of the program included: Solarsoft, Enfocus, EFI/Radius Solutions, HP Indigo, tesa tape, Southern Lithoplate, TOPS Pro, DuPont Packaging Graphics, The Quick Brown Fox, Hybrid Software and MacDermid Printing Solutions.
